“Work hard in silence, let success be your noise” ~Unknown~ This young man is determined to succeed in everything he sets out to do. His goals are his goals–not mine, nor his father’s. In the beginning of the school year, he mentioned to his father and me that he will receive MVP in all sports (soccer, basketball, track); he will make the Principal’s List all year long; he will memorize bible texts in one day; and he will have his sports gear before the end of the school year. Chase accomplished all of his goals and more. It’s an honor to watch him understand his purpose at such a young age.
The most important things we try to teach our sons are to know and accept Jesus for themselves, how to think critically, how to make the right decisions, how to mange money, how to survive, to know and understand their purpose in life, always help someone, and to love and respect themselves and others. TESSology Nugget: “Train up a child in the way he should go..” (Proverbs 22:6), and pray with and over your children daily. Don’t forget to order your CHASE sports gear.www.exclusivelybytess.com/store
